Sawyer's Wild Life
Just a little man growing up in the wild

This is Baby Nosim no 1
Nosim, who is a young Dik Dik antelope, was brought to us 7 months ago after being found running down the main road away from dogs. She was only a week or so old and needed to be hand-raised on milk in order to survive. She only spent a few weeks with us before being taken in by another carer who successfully raised her to adolescence and could be self-sufficient. The reason I am only writing about her now is because she made such an impact on Sawyer that he still mentions her 6 months down the line. One of our other hand-raised Dik Dik's has just had his second baby, which can be seen walking around camp in the evenings. Sawyer calls the new baby 'Baby Nosim' and mentions Nosim nearly every day now!
