Sawyer is a little man who has been lucky enough to have spent his entire life living in wildlife areas with giraffe, zebra and even lion literally on his back porch. From the week he was born, until now he has been exposed to life in the bush and embracing all the animals which he has encountered with open arms and lots of kisses.

His love for the outdoors and nature has been so obvious since he could lift his head to peer past his toys and out the window. His first animal encounter was the day he arrived home from the hospital and a baby Leopard tortoise was blocking the drive way. A sure sign of things to come! When he was a little baby, afternoons were spent in the backyard watching the giraffe and herds of eland coming to have their last drink at the waterhole near the house.

As he got older he was able to come in the Landrover and enjoy the many 4 x 4 routes around the game reserve. One of his Dad's duties was to feed the Sable Antelope in the afternoons, which always made him squeal with delight when they came running (this after he spent half an hour playing in their food bowls!) When he was 6 months old he even watched two lionesses have surgery and touch a sedated male lion. One lucky boy, even though he wont remember!

He now lives in a remote area in Kenya, surrounded by wilderness and the Masaai communities, learning how to speak Swahili and spending his time with his two best friends (a Gazelle and a Masaai boy the same age). The three of them spend afternoons running in the dust and exploring the camp.
